If issues persist, force stop and reopen DhwaniPay, verify payment SMS from your bank, and enable Notification Access via Notifications → Privacy → Notification Read, Reply & Control → DhwaniPay → Allow Restricted Settings.

Why am I not hearing voice announcements?

Go to Home Screen → Voice Alerts and enable the Voice Alerts toggle. Also ensure Bluetooth device (if used) is connected, media volume is not muted, and notification access is enabled.

Yes. SMS permission is mandatory for voice payment alerts. DhwaniPay reads payment-related SMS from your bank to detect transactions. SMS data is not uploaded or stored on our servers; it remains on your device.
