Delete your account from the DhwaniPay App
Recommended- 1Open the DhwaniPay app.
- 2Go to Settings.
- 3Tap Delete Account.
- 4Confirm your request.
- 5Your account deletion request will be processed according to our data retention policy.
Unable to access the app?
If you cannot access the application because:
- your phone is lost
- you uninstalled the app
- you changed your device
- you cannot log in

What happens when you delete your account?
Data Deleted
When account deletion is completed, the following associated user data is deleted from DhwaniPay systems where applicable:
- Account information
- Registered mobile number
- Authentication information
- App preferences
- Subscription status
- Associated user profile information
Data That May Be Retained
Certain information may be retained only when legally required for:
- fraud prevention
- financial record keeping
- dispute resolution
- regulatory compliance
- security investigations
Only the minimum required information will be retained for the legally required duration and will be securely protected.
Effect of Deletion
- Account deletion is permanent.
- Deleted accounts cannot be recovered.
- You must create a new account if you wish to use DhwaniPay again.
